The Department of Sports and Recreation has announced that, in keeping with international and regional policies, only persons with Anguillian Passports or persons who have resided in Anguilla for at least two years will be eligible to represent Anguilla in sporting events. The holding of an Anguillian passport will take precedence over the two year requirement.

Organizations failing to adhere to this provision will be penalized by the Department of Sports and Recreation.
